We have a wide range of expertise covering many different areas of projects throughout our group of Utility Inspectors. These inspectors have proven thierselves time & time again showing without a doubt that Pinpoint has the right inspector for any job.
If your project requires the best of the best, then look no further. Pinpoint's Senior Utility II inspectors are all highly experienced veterans in there field. Here at PPIT, an inspector is not granted that title without at least 10 years of proven experience in their particular area of expertise along with obtaining and keeping the API 1169 "Certified Pipeline Inspector" certification.
In the event that there is not a pre-determined inspection plan put in place, Pinpoint can aid in the construction & scheduling of one for your project. We can help establish a hold point system of pre-determined inspection visits that will span the duration of the fabrication process. These points will be at the most critical stages of construction of the product or products.
We have found that one of these critical stages is when the materials are delivered. PPIT inspectors will inspect the materials upon delivery to insure that they are of the proper grade and point of origin. Our Vendor Inspectors are trained to be extremely proficient yet mindful in order to catch any damaged or noncompliant materials prior to them being used.
Once a hold point schedule has been established by the inspectors, these extensive inspections will beconducted in order to help the vendor catch any mistakes that could cause a delay in the production of the unit or units. This will help to insure any deadlines are met and save the vendor money by avoiding having to make alterations mid production.
Once the unit has undergone its final inspection and shipped, if required, our inspector will travel to the in field site and evaluate the installation of the unit to insure that there is no damage caused by the installation and to provide the final report.
Even if you do not utilize PPIT's full Vendor Inspection program, if you require or desire third party verification, please contact us and give us the information of what you are needing and we will provide the right inspector for the job. Our inspectors are available and experienced enough to be able to provide third party verification of any aspects or activities required.
If problems arise mid production in your project and the farication process is not going as well as it looked on paper, please give Pinpoint a call and let us help troubleshoot the problem. Even if you have been utilizing the services of a different inspection company, we want to offer our help if needed. Our inspectors are true professionals that know how important it is that equipment, especially in our industry, be built correctly and want to help any way we can.
